Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage

uses the “traditional” massage techniques including effleurage, petrissage, friction, vibration and tapotements.
The aim of Swedish massage is to offer relaxation and well-being.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage

Warm stones will be placed in strategic points and then will be used to massage your body and promoting maximal mental and physical relaxation.

Deep tissue massage

Deep tissue massage

uses more force to get deeper into the muscles. The treatment is generally more localised to a specific area of the body.
Deep tissue massage is very useful alongside physiotherapy to increase range of movement of muscles and joints.

Sports massage

Sports massage

can be divided into two categories :

Pre-event sports massages focus on preparing you for your next sporting event by relaxing your muscles and loosening your joints.  They are best done 24 to 48 hours before your event.

Post-event massages focus on recovery by reducing muscle pain (DOMS) and fatigue. Most effective in the first 24 hours following your event.

Remedial/ Therapeutic Massage

Remedial/ Therapeutic Massage

uses both Swedish and deep tissue massage alongside stretching techniques and joint mobilisations to increase the range of movements of your joints and muscles. This is the type of massage you would expect a physio to do and is used to help recovery of an injury.
